Story

Background:

Born and raised in New York, Laura attended Pratt Institute and graduated from the New School for Social Research. Utilizing her background in design, Laura began experimenting with jewelry as a creative outlet. In 2004, she launched her first collection and has been designing pieces ever since.

Process:

Our collections usually begin with a box bursting with photographs, drawings, and images found in magazines. We sort through this medley and a collection begins to emerge. From there a story begins to unfold and our time to create begins.

What we love:

We love to travel, and believe it is the single most important way to spark creativity. Aromatic coffee. Paper with texture. Books with transporting stories.

What we do when not creating jewelry:

Playing with our century old letterpress. Working on a novel.
